Head and shoulders portrait of William Charles Henry Frisco, Prince of Orange. Turned to the left as viewed and looking back at viewer, he wears armour with ermine cloak. Oval in a rectangular frame.
Inscribed ‘Mutsart pinx 1749. WILLEM DE VIERDE, PRINS VAN ORANJE EN NASSAU, Erfstadhouder, Kapitein-Generaal en Admirael der Vereenigde Nederlanden. A.Schouman del. J. Houbraken sec. IS TIRION excud. 1759’ and pencilled ‘1733. 1/-'.
William Charles Henry Frisco, Price of Orange was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1734.
