Description
Head and shoulders portrait of Caleb Whitefoord facing forward and looking off the right as viewed. He wears regency-style clothing of high collared jacket with white shirt and cravat. In an oval frame, cut out.
Inscribed ‘CALEB WHITEFOORD, ESQRE’ and pencilled ‘1784’.
Caleb Whitefoord was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1784.
