    Description
    This is a copy of a diagram for Jean Dominique Cassini's calculations for the beginning and end of the eclipse of the Sun (that occurred on 1 June 1676) because clouds obscured direct observations of it. From his letter to Henry Oldenburg dated 25 July 1676.

    It was printed in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 11, no. 127 (1676), fig. 6.
