    Description
A chart of the constellation Cygnus, next to a table of values of a lunar eclipse (observed 16 June 1666). The chart shows a nova near the breast of the swan, first observed by Johannes Kepler in November 1601. Johannes Hevelius communicated his observation of this new star on 24 September 1666 to Henry Oldenburg, in a letter dated 29 October 1666.
