    Suppose the tube AB every where of equall widenesse so filled as that in the bottom betwixt 2 & 3 may be one parte of water or any alike ponderous liquor, in the upper parts betwixt it [smudge] 2, two parts or alike measures of oyle or some liquor not so waighty in spirit as water.
