Botanical study of the cultivated raspberry Red Antwerp, showing two fruits on the cane with leaves. The plate has a small sectional detail of the fruit.

Ebenezer Emmons (1799-1863) American geologist, associated with the Geological Survey of the State of New York. His son acted as a paid assistant and illustrator after Emmons senior’s appointment as the State Geologist.
