Description
Optical diagram showing light shone through a prism and the resulting spectral patterns. Representing Goethe’s experiments on the ‘conditions of the increase of colour’ where the increased displacement of the object by the angle of the prism and the distance of the surface that the light is refracted on to, changes the resulting colours. Showing that where the boundary colours of blue and yellow begin to overlap, green is produced.
