Description
Full length studio portrait of Robert Etheridge leaning against a sculture plinth, holding gloves in his right hand and a hat in his left. The scene is dressed with a patterned drape and decorative wainscot.
Inscribed below the image: “MAULL & Co. LONDON”. The reverse is variously inscribed: printed “MAULL & Co. PHOTOGRAPHERS, 187a PICCADILLY W. TAVISTOCK HOUSE, FULHAM ROAD AND 62, CHEAPSIDE, E.C. LONDON.”
Robert Etheridge was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1871.
