Inscribed left “Wageman del.” Inscribed below: “Atheneum Portraits no.42. Day & Haghe Lithrs. To the King. London, Pubd. June 1836, by T.McLean 26 Haymarket.” In pencil lower left “1824”.
Thomas Amyot was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1824.
