    Description
    Marine biological study of the spotted scat fish, here styled Chaetodonte argo now Scatophagus argus, native to the Indo-Pacific region including the seas around New Guinea. Side view with a detail of the head of a second specimen, showing red colouration, lower right.

    Pieter Boedaert (1730 or 1733-1795) was a Dutch physician and naturalist.
