Description
Zoological study of a white-eyelid mangabey, a variety of the genus Cercocebus and a native of Africa Shown standing upright with one arm extended. This specimen was a female and drawn from life “lately exhibited by Mr. Wombwell in Edinburgh...she performed many of the attitudes of the most experienced Harlequins.”
