    Zoological studies of mollusc shells. Lower figures described by the author as Bulimulus trifasciatus (now Bulimulus guadalupensis acutus) “from Guadaloupe”. Upper figures described as Bulimulus acutus. Front and back views of each shell.

    The plate is inscribed: “Drawn Engraved & Published by R. P. Nodder 1814.”

    William Elford Leach (1790-1836) British naturalist was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1816.
