Object history
Joseph Fox ran lectures on teeth for students at Guy’s Hospital. These were the first lectures to be given specifically on dentistry in Britain. His publications The Natural History of Teeth (1803) and The Natural History of the Diseases of the Teeth were based upon these lectures.
