Description
Botanical study of Oxalis tubiflora [Oxalis hirta L. var. tubiflora (Jacq.) T.M.Salter?] a plant native to South Africa. This text accompanying this illustration notes: “Patria. Promontorium bonae spei” [Cape of Good Hope]. The plate contains inset details of bulb, flower bud and stamens.
