Description
Zoological study of marine crustacean antennae under magnification. Figure C shows an underdeveloped right male antenna in a smaller specimen of the creature. Figure D shows an asymmetrical right antenna. The specimens were collected in a towing net during the voyage of H.M.S.V.Torch between St Vincent and Rio de Janeiro. The author, John Denis Macdonald was assistant surgeon on the vessel.
