    Description
    Composite study of fifteen snails and slugs in undergrowth with fungi, wild strawberries and a log of wood. The molluscs include: the edible snail or escargot (Helix pomatia); the black slug (Arion empiricorum); and the grove snail (Cepaea nemoralis).

    The plate has a tissue overlay to identify each insect with numbered captions. Signed lower left: ‘H Morin’. Title appears below the image: ‘LAND MOLLUSCS’.
