Description
Two underwater scenes featuring marine biological studies showing anemones classified by the author as Sagartia dohrnii, Adamsia palliata on the shell of the hermit crab Pagurus prideaux and Adamsia rondeletii, again symbiotically attached to a hermit crab.

Angelo Andres (1851-1934) was a marine zoologist and friend of Felix Anton Dohrn FRS (1840-1909) first Director of the Stazione Zoologica, Naples, Italy.
