Half-length portrait of William Portman, in a wig and Roman dress. In an oval frame.
Inscribed ‘E.Harding sculpt. SIR WILLIAM PORTAMN. From a scarce Print. Publish’d Aug 1. 1800, by E. Harding, 98 Pall Mall’ and pencilled ‘1664’ .
Sir William Portman was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1664.
