Half-length portrait of Giles Strangeways turned to the right as viewed and looking straight at viewer. He wears armour with lace cravat. In an oval frame.
Inscribed ‘P. S. Harding. Clamp Sc. GILES STRANGEWAYS, From an Original Drawing by Loggan. Pubd 1 Oct. 1796. By E&S Harding Pall Mall’ and pencilled ‘1673’.
Giles Strangeways was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1673.
