Three-quarter length portrait of Thomas Trevor, standing to the left as viewed and looking back at viewer. He wears long wig with judicial robes and holds crown in right hand, sword in left. Heraldic badge beneath portrait with lion charge, dragon supporters, and jewelled crown.
Inscribed ‘Js. Sympson Sct. The Right Honourable Thomas Trevor, Lord Trevor’ and pencilled ‘1726’.
Thomas Trevor was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1712.
