Three quarter length portrait of Samuel Vince, seated wearing a jacket with gown and holding a pair of glasses in his left hand, resting in lap.
Inscribed ‘Samuel Vince FRS’ and pencilled ‘1786’.
Samuel Vince was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1786.
