                                Three quarter length portrait of Stephen Weston, turned to the right as viewed and glancing back at viewer. He stands with right hand on hip and left arm resting on mantel[?], hand held against head. He wears jacket with lace trimmed collared shirt and cape draped over right shoulder.
Inscribed ‘Harding sculpt. STEPHEN WESTON. M.A. from a Picture painted in Rome, 1775. Pubd. Nov 1. 1794 by E&S Harding, Pall Mall’ and pencilled ‘1792'.
Stephen Weston was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1792.
