    Half-length portrait of Philip Yorke, turned to the right as viewed and looking back at viewer. Standing before draped curtain and column. He wears jacket with embroidered sleeve, fur trimmed cape, and neck tie.

    Philip Yorke was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1741.
