Half-length portrait of Jean Antoine Nollet, facing forward with head turned to the right as viewed and looking off to distance. He wears buttoned jacket with bands and shoulder length wig.
Inscribed on paper support ‘L’AbbéNollet FRS’ and pencilled ‘1734’.
Jean Antoine was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1735.
