Head and shoulders portrait of Pasquale de Paoli, facing forward and looking off to the right as viewed. He wears military jacket with epaulettes and frilled shirt. In an oval frame.
Inscribed ‘GENERAL PAOLI. Published May 1 1795 by B Crosby 4 Stationers Court, Ludgate Street’ and pencilled ‘1774'.
Pasquale de Paoli was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1774.
