Description
Half-length portrait of Thomas Parker, turned slightly to the left as viewed and looking straight to viewer. He wears long wig, court robes with fur mantle, and chain of office. Oval in rectangular frame with crest below.
Inscribed 'The Rt. Honble Thomas L Parker, Baron of Macclesfield & L. Ch. Justice of England'.
Thomas Parker was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1712 and was on the council in 1730.
