    Three quarter length portrait of Thomas Boothby Parkyns, leaning against pillar with sword at hip, looking off to the right as viewed. He wears full length coat with ruffled shirt and sash across right hand shoulder with three badge. In an oval frame with heraldic badge and inscription below.

F.R.S F.A.S. c c & M.P. for Leicester. London Publishd by G. Cawthorn. British Library, Strand, Sept 19 1796’ and pencilled ‘1787’.

    Thomas Boothby Parkyns was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1787.
