    Head and shoulders portrait of Home Riggs Popham, turned to the left as viewed and looking back at viewer. He wears military jacket with epaulettes, and tricorne hat. In an oval frame.

    Inscribed ‘Hastings pinxt. Hopwood sculpt. Sir Home Popham’ and pencilled ‘1799’.

    Sir Home Riggs Popham was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1799.
