Description
Studio portrait of eight members of the teaching staff of Anderson’s Institution, Glasgow, variously seated and standing, and shown in academic gowns. Thomas Edward Thorpe occupied the Chair of Technical Chemistry 1870-1874 and is standing third from left of the group.
