Inscribed ‘Literary Magazine. BISHOP STILLINGFLEET. Engraved by John Hall from an Original Picture Painted by Sr Peter Lely. Published as the Act directs, 2nd July 1792/1 by C. Forster, 41 Poultry’ and pencilled ‘1688. /6’
Edward Stillingfleet was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1688.
