    Three-quarter length portrait of Helen Kemp Porter, standing in three-quarter profile to the right as viewed, wearing ceremonial robes and tudor bonnet hat. Taken at the ceremony of her appointment to the Fellowship of the Imperial College of Science and Technology.

    Inscribed in pen on the back ‘ICST 1966 – The Fellow!’

    Helen Kemp Porter (1899-1987) was a plant physiologist and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1956.
