    Description
    Ornithological study of a male Amazonian umbrellabird (cephatopterus ornatus), native to the Amazon basin. The bird is perched on a twig and has a crest and an inflatable wattle on the throat. A section showing the contours of the base of the beak is in the bottom right hand corner of the image.
