Half-length portrait of Henry Warburton in left three quarter profile and looking off to distance. He is wearing regency-style clothing of high collared jacket with waistcoat, shirt, and cravat. His hair is short and receding.
Inscribed ‘Henry Warburton FRS’ and pencilled ‘1809’ on paper support. Facsimile signature on separate paper.
Henry Warburton was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1809.
