                                Half-length portrait of Alexander Wedderburn in three-quarter profile to the left and looking to distance. He wears long wig and is dressed in ornate gown with long lace collar. In an oval frame. 
Inscribed ‘Engraved by Hopwood, from a drawing by W H Brown. LORD LOUGHBOROUGH. Engraved for C.Cooke May 27.1797’ and pencilled ‘1787’.
Alexander Wedderburn was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1787.
