Head and shoulders portrait of Charles Yorke in right profile. He wears long wig with queue and is dressed in overcoat with long neck cloth. In an oval frame.
Inscribed ‘European Magazine Engraved by Ridley THE HONBLE CHARLES YROKE natus Jan. 10 1723. Moituus Jan 20 1770. Pub by J. Sewell Cornhill Jan 1, 1803.’ Pencilled ‘’1750.’
Charles Yorke was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1750.
