Head and shoulders portrait of Nathan Alcock in three-quarter profile to the left as viewed. He wears short hair and full beard and is wearing a fur trimmed robe.
Inscribed ‘N. ALCOCK’ and pencilled ‘1749’.
Nathan Alcock was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1750.
