    Inscribed ‘Anderson del. Ridley sculp. James Anderson L.L.D. F.R.S. F.A.S. S.&c. Publish’d by Vernor & Hood 31 Poultry Novr. 30th 1799’ and pencilled ‘1759’.

    James Anderson was an agriculturist and political economist.
