Head and shoulders portrait of George Anson, Baron Anson of Soberton in three quarter profile to the right as viewed and looking back to viewer. He wears shoulder length wig and is dressed in waistcoat and coat with braid detail. In an oval frame.
Inscribed ‘J. Reynolds Pinx. Ridley sc. RT. HONBLE. GEORGE LORD ANSON. Baron of Soberton. First Lord Commissr of the Admiralty Vice Adml of Great Britian’. Crest inscribed ‘NIL DESPERANDUM’.
