Description
Head and shoulders portrait of Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore facing forward and looking slightly to the right as viewed. He wears wig with queue and is dressed in jacket and waistcoat with braid details, and a lace cravat. In an oval frame with scrolls and ribbon.
Inscribed ‘J. Miller Sc. FREDERICK Ld. BALTIMORE. From an Original Painting ‘ and pencilled ‘1767. /6.’
Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1767.
