    Inscribed ‘Déssiné d’aprés le Buste que possede M. Dulong, et Gravé par Ambroise Tardieu. LE CHER. BERZÉLIUS (Chimiste), Associé étranger de l’Académie des Sciences de Paris, Secrétaire de l’Académie des Sciences de Stockholm etc.’

    Jons Jakob Berzelius was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1813, he was awarded the Copley Medal in 1836.
