Portrait of Richard Hussey Bickerton wearing military uniform. In an oval frame with a crest below, with a supporter of a man holding a flag inscribed ‘EGYPT’.
Inscribed ‘Engraved by RIDLEY from a drawing by T MAYNARD. From an Original Picture Painted in Malta. SIR RICHARD BICKERTON BART. K.G. Rear Admiral of the White’ and pencilled ‘1810’.
Sir Richard Hussey Bickerton was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1810.
