    Half-length portrait of Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington and 4th Earl of Cork, in three-quarter profile to the left as viewed. He has a full-length wig and wearing the Order of the Garter Star on left breast of jacket.

    Inscribed ‘p.486 G Kneller pinxit T Chambars Sculp. RICHARD BOYLE EARL of BURLINGTON’ and pencilled ‘1663’.

    Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington and 4th Earl of Cork was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1722.
