    Description
    Head and shoulders portrait of Claude Gros de Boze in three-quarter profile to the left as viewed. He wears shoulder-length wig and is dressed in collarless jacket with cape draped over right shoulder. A book case can be seen in the background, left hand side as viewed. Oval in a rectangular frame.

    Claude Gros de Boze was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1749.
