    Description
    Head and shoulders portrait of Owen Salusbury Brereton in three quarter profile to the left as viewed. He wears short wig with queue and is dressed in jacket, waistcoat, shirt and cravat. In an oval frame.

    Inscribed ‘OWEN SALUSBURY BRERETON Esqr. F.R. & A.S. late Vice President of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce. Engraved by W. Evans, from an original miniature furnished by the late John Holliday Esq; and pencilled ‘1762’.

    Owen Salusbury Brereton was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1762.
