Head and shoulders portrait of Isaac Hawkins Browne wearing long wig and dressed in collarless coat with cravat. Oval in a rectangular frame with crest and inscription.
Inscribed ‘Isaac Hawkins Browne Esq. F.R.S. Highmore pinxt. Ravenet sculpt’ and pencilled ‘1749’.
Isaac Hawkins Browne was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1750.
