    Half-length portrait of George Gordon Byron, 6th Lord Byron inclined to the right as viewed and looking over to the left, his right hand rests on the edge of a table. He wears open necked shirt fastened with a jewel, decorative jacket and cape.

    Inscribed ‘T. Phillips, R.A. W.H. Mote. Lord Byron. Fisher, Son & Co London & Paris’ and pencilled ‘1816’.

    George Gordon Byron, 6th Lord Byron was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1816.
