Description
Chemical chart of solutions and precipitates of gold and platinum salts in wine glasses, illustrating the colours of each. Figure 73 shows chloroauric acid [‘Chlor-Gold’] in five solutions. Figure 74 shows chloroplatinic acid [‘Chlor-platina’] in five solutions including (number 5) with a zinc plate. Above are four inset figures intended to show the colours of both in weak and concentrated solutions contained in bottles.
