    Description
    Freshwater zoological study of the Paradise fish Macrododus opercularis (here styled Macropoduc venustus) a fish native to Asia, including Korea and Vietnam. Side view with two line details, one of the head and a sectional view of the fish.

    Inscribed below ‘LE BEAU macropode. MACROPODUS venustus. n.’ and attributed ‘Werner del. Impe. de Langlois. Schmeltz sculp.’
