    Sir John Ernest Walker is a British chemist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1995.

    George Porter, Baron Porter of Luddenham (1920-2002) was a British chemist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1960, he served as President from 1985-1990.

    Sir Harold Walter Kroto (1939-2016) was a British chemist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1990.

    Steven Victor Ley is a British chemist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1990. He was the President of the Royal Society of Chemistry from 2000 to 2002.

    Max Ferdinand Perutz (1914-2002) was an Austrian-born British molecular biologist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1954.

    John Warcup Cornforth (1917-2013) was an Australian chemist, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1953.
