Description
Anatomical study of the human gravid uterus in the ninth month of pregnancy. The abdomen is shown in anterior view and dissected with the front of the uterine wall removed, showing the foetus in the womb.

William Hunter (1718-1783) was a British physician, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1767.
